“By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.” (Hebrews 11:7)

It seems to me that this whole episode of increasing evil we are witnessing in our day is a stark reminder about the days in which Noah lived in. Influential ministers have been speaking out about Divine Judgment that is taking place even now in our Western Hemisphere. If you doubt this, be careful not to mock something you may know little about until you have examined for yourself what the Scriptures have to say about righteous anger toward the nations that reject Him, who instead have willfully entered into a gross state of deepening immorality. For some it is too late to turn back. Shouts for more decadence is coming from every side. Those in powerful places have affirmed homosexuality and have voted for more unrighteous laws which promote widening even further laws that allow untethered murder of the unborn, which are at epidemic levels already. Since 1973 over 56 million children have been killed by abortion. We cry for those of Germany’s Holocaust but defend the right to kill our own children! Be certain God is not sitting still while massive moral crimes against Him are occurring every day. It will be avenged.

“They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.” Luke 17:27

Jesus’ statement about Judgment in Noah’s day saw men and women going about life under the same familiar patterns that we observe today. People eat meals, wed, have families, much the same routine in our cities and towns and just as real is the prevailing wickedness that surround us as it did in past epochs. Much like in Noah’s generation the evil back then sits atop us like a pile of rubble. It is easy enough to find instances of insane evil. Consider the moral damage to our most prized possessions, our very own children and the legislation against them. Our leaders are making it unlawful to keep children from harming themselves from physical and spiritual ruination by promoting sex change treatments and making it unlawful for parents or guardians even to perform their God given duty to instruct their kids against it. You can expect some sort of repercussions from the courts or malicious actions should you decide to do so. A man carrying a sign warning about the dangers of transgenderism walks down a city street peacefully in the hope to warn people about the dreadful effects to children of altering their gender identity. Meanwhile a group who learned of this over social media formed around him to intimidate and pressure him into silence. It was reported by the news that he was even hit by one of them. Much like in the days of Noah great evil is shaping our society, and just like in those days no one is paying much attention to it. We are reminded that children are dependent upon parents and educators alike for a sound view of life. They are not to be denied protection and right moral standards, and certainly not made to feel denigrated through sexual abnormalities foisted upon them by those in trusted positions. Jesus speaks in clear terms about judgment that is reserved for those who bring harm to a child. Consider the tender picture of Christ and children and the sober deterrence which below is given in radical figurative language, to state to the offender the seriousness of his/her actions against children.

“At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, ‘Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?’ He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: ‘Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me. If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come! If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire. And if your eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell’.” Matt.18:1 -9

This solemn warning is inclusive. It involves those who are active advocates of transgenderism for children and even the spiritually immature in the Christian faith — whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea. What can be more precious to Jesus than children’s souls?

Most apparent in the crowd today of homosexuals and their supporters is the fact that little, if anything, is ever said about real morals. The insidious nature of rebellious humanity and insistence on exploiting sexual perversions while leading others into it are under God’s Judgment even now. More can be learned from the book of Romans. This chapter speaks of the impenitent person who remains resolute in his/her degenerate lifestyle, gripped by sexual sins are found to be reprobates. A reprobate is a person who, because of their hardened immoral stance against God, is cast away by Him. At which point, you are left in your defiant condition, never wanting to turn from your sins, and are under divine judgment until you are sent into hell. Earlier we said it is too late for some. What has been described as the hardening of the heart where it reaches the point of no return does happen in our day. In your present situation, ask yourself how you are receiving this message so far? Laughing it off or making little of it. That may clue you in, as to where you are at this very moment. Perhaps, you are finding this warning or for that matter any spiritual talk much like the way they did during the time of Noah. He was a preacher of righteousness, and no doubt judging by their response, they refused to listen to the warnings of approaching judgment. All of them perished. You will too if you continue in your sins. Do you doubt judgment is in motion even now as we consider our present time of reckless abandonment to Biblical norms. The reprobate mind refuses to believe. As in Noah’s day, you will go on eating and drinking, caught up in daily routine, doing your own thing, then it will be too late. Just like in the days of Noah!

Or by God’s grace and mercy you turn from your sins, hear the message, and respond in faith to it. Believe in Christ and heed His warning, seek forgiveness of your sins and give him your heart. Repent now from the evil you have committed and trust His gospel that speaks about Christ death for our forgiveness, and be assured that the promise of eternal life belongs to you and all those whom He has purposed to save, each one of those who have believed in Jesus Christ, the Savior.
